You are invited! Whether you want to create that perfect intimate getaway, start a family tradition, or host a unique business retreat; our luxury cabins or bed & breakfast will meet your needs. Our hocking hills cabins are centrally located between Athens and Nelsonville, Ohio. Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave, Cedar Falls & all the cabin rentals Hocking Hills Region has to offer is just a short drive from our cabins. Not to mention that you have Wayne National Forest out your back door with thousands of acres to explore!
We started this venture with our first property, Sand Run Resort, in 2013. We knew this would be the perfect setting for a secluded cabin retreat nestled in Ohio's Hocking Hills and Wayne National Forest. The resort has 2 cabins and a lodge that sits on 7 acres. At Sand Run Resort we can accommodate up to 26 guests comfortably and over 80 miles of hiking and ATV trails are accessible. FullBrook's Lodge is a luxury rustic retreat that sits on 52 acres with stunning views while being conveniently located to historic Nelsonville and Athens, Ohio. The bobcat is native to Ohio and is Ohio University's mascot, but our Bobcat Cabin is a beautiful large log siding cabin that has plenty of space for all your friends and family. Unlike our other cabins, Laurel Run Farm House offers a more delightful feeling thanks to its beautiful structure that was built in the 1800's. Located deep in Wayne National Forest sits our Montana Cabin which is a traditional log cabin with an exquisite wrap around porch. The Red Cardinal Cottage has gorgeous red cedar siding with Oak Panel walls that have yet to disappoint our guests. The Getaway Cabin is a ranch style cabin that is perfect for guests looking to "get-away." The A-Frame beauty, referred to as The Chalet, was built by Owen White and sits on 25 acres with a large pond perfect for fishing. Eagle's Landing, Hawk's Nest and Cozy Cabin are situated on 7 acres adjacent to 100 acres of private land great for large family retreats. The Fox Den is a rustic cabin perfect for a couple looking for a romantic escape. Nestled back in the woods across a creek is the Cross Creek Cabin perfect for friends and family looking for some serenity. For our ATV enthusiasts, we have our Bluejay Cabin which is conveniently located on the Dorr Head Trail Head great for quick access to Wayne National Forest's trails. You will want to grab the whole family to watch an amazing sunset off of the deck at our Sunset Cabin. The latest addition to 1st Choice Cabin Rentals was the Hillside Cabin located deep in the hills of Hocking County.
Since 2013, we have been a rapidly growing cabin rental business and we plan on continuing to grow. Our family takes great pride in remodeling our cabins and vacation homes to meet the needs of our customers. We aren't satisfied until our guests are happy!
