The Pines Lodge is ideal for family & friends wanting enjoy the simple pleasures of nature, relax and enjoy a rustic luxury cabin conveniently located near many exciting opportunities and outdoor adventures. Our cabin is comfortably furnished. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, dishes, pots & pans, utensils, microwave, dishwasher, 4 bedrooms, WI-FI, cable TV, DVD, air conditioning, washer and dryer, linens and bath towels. There is an outside multi-level deck with dining table and Chairs, two hand-crafted log rocking chairs and gas grill (propane included) and Hot Tub.

 

After hiking the trails at the Hocking Hills State Parks or hunting in the nearby Wayne National Forest enjoy your evening by the stars by a crackling fire while telling tall tales and toasting marshmallows.

For our ATV enthusiasts, there is a trail head located less than 1/2 a mile from the cabin great for a day of exploring 75+ miles of Wayne National Forest. To top it off, the local area is ATV friendly! Interested in a family retreat? Sand Run Resort is made up of The Whitetail, Sandy Run, and The Pines. Book all three cabins for accommodations up to 26 people. Your family can easily enjoy all the beauty that Wayne National Forest offers.


Relax in the hot tub, stargaze, or spend some quality time out by the campfire with family and friends. Sand Run Lake is located right on the property for some great catch and release fishing, canoeing or kayaking, and some much-needed R&R. 20 minutes down the road, guests will find Lake Logan which offers an abundance of relaxation by the water. Take a 30 minute drive from your cabin to visit Old Man's Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave, Rock House, Conkle's Hollow, or Rock Bridge located in Hocking Hills State Park. No matter the season, you and your guests won't be disappointed when visiting all the beauty Hocking Hills offers!


The Pines is located 5 miles from Nelsonville and Wayne National Forest. The State Park offers over thousands of acres to explore by hiking, off-highway vehicle riding, mountain biking, or horseback riding. When in town, guests will want to visit Nelsonville's Historic Square Arts District, Stuart's Opera House, Hocking Valley Scenic Railway, or the Nelsonville Music Festival that is held every year at Hocking College. On the opposite side of Nelsonville is Lake Hope State Park located in Zaleski State Forest. Guests can enjoy some fine dining at Lake Hope Lodge or a day of picnicking and swimming with family and friends.
